The main raw material of SMC is unsaturated polyester resin. Most of the components are derived from natural minerals, and are combined with other additives to form a gelling material. This material is then combined and solidified to form the main body of the modular drainage ditch. 
The SMC linear drainage ditch has the following features: 
1. It is hard, resistant to impact, pressure and bending. Resin concrete can absorb external impact forces. Its compressive and bending strength is 3 to 5 times that of traditional concrete. 
2. Resistance to chemical corrosion: The SMC linear drainage channel can effectively resist the corrosion of chemical substances. It has excellent resistance to acids and alkalis, and has strong corrosion resistance. It also has good resistance to the erosion caused by biological sulfuric acid and acidic soil. 
3. Anti-bacterial corrosion: Prevents biological parasitism, does not absorb water, has no capillary pores, and biological tissues cannot survive on it, thus preventing erosion. 
4. Resistant to high temperatures and low temperatures, it can withstand sunlight exposure. Freezing and thawing have no effect on the material structure. It has excellent climate adaptability and will not exhibit any fragility or cracking even in extremely harsh environments. 
5. Lightweight and precise in size, with precise dimensions, light weight, reduced material thickness, lower transportation, hoisting, excavation and installation costs, and significantly shortened installation time; 
6. The surface is smooth, presenting an artistic appearance. It is easy to maintain and clean. The surface of the resin concrete drainage ditch does not flake off and is smooth. According to different needs, different color pigments can be added to produce products with various surface colors. Even the surface can be electroplated as per requirements, which makes it less prone to accumulate sediment, easy to rinse and won't be damaged by scrubbing.
